The ancestral home of all surface-dwelling elves in Eluaria, Felfatheas is a mix of open, rolling plains, deep, rich forests, and rimmed with rolling hills and low mountain steppes. Felfatheas also includes gnomes and many other fae creatures who are attuned with nature in some form or another. Rich in magic and resources, the denizens of Felfatheas seek a natural balance with their environments, whether it be in the plains, forests, hills, or mountains. Even the palace and the cities tend to compliment the environment rather than detract from it or destroy it.
This is the kingdom of elves, and the elven king sits on his throne with his queen and family in the Islefield Palace on the eastern coast, overlooking the Swift Channel. The elves are also credited with the formation of Sihirisium, the world-reknowned school of magic.
Islefield Palace
The palace of the elven king, home to the elven nobility. A towering structure of stone, crystal, glass, and living wood, the castle stands near the coast with a lush forest to the south. The city outside the palace is open to elves and fae of all heritage save the dark races, but the high elves comprise the ruling class of the nobility. The surrounding city of Islefield is nestled into a lush green valley, and the buildings of those who live there are nearly indistinguishable from the trees, earth, and foliage from which they are comprised. There are few actual buildings here made of masoned stone or cut wood; instead, stone walls appear to be natural formations, as if grown or cultured, and the trees and bushes are interwoven into walls, roofs, or other structures. Dare you venture to the city of the elven king?
Corol Ambo
Corol Ambo, the Rolling Hills, are home to the various species of elves who prefer the life and beauty to be found in the hills, mountains, and rockier climes of the world. Sinda, the grey elves, make up most of the population of elves to be found here, but some number of other types of fae can also be encountered here, including fairies and gnomes. These hills and foothills have been cultured in such a way as to be indistinguishable from natural works - and perhaps they were worked in a natural method - the elves, like the dwarves, do not often share the knowledge of their abilities. Statues, pillars and columns, and other such locations can be found scattered all over, sometimes organized, but more often not. It is a quite, open place for the most part, and the elves roam freely. Explore the rolling hills of Corol Ambo!
Lanhail
Lanhail is an expansive land of rolling plains and meadows in central Felfatheas fed by a large quantity of tranquil rivers that come down out of the mountains from the north. Much of it is tended by elven gardeners and rangers who roam and protect these lands, helping to mold the land to a natural beauty and maintain balance. Rolling rivers, streams, gardens and pastures aplenty can be found here, often dotted with cultured hedges and fields. Large quantities of wildlife can be found here as well, with deer, antelope, moose, elk, and even more exotic species roaming freely and unhindered in small herds. There are also some predators that make their homes here as well, feeding on those packs, but the elves maintain that this is part of the natural balance in general. Visit Lanhail!
Sihirisium
Sihirisium is well known as the land of mages and magic for all of Eluaria, but in truth the name originates as the name of the island upon which the college, library, and town are all founded. Sihirisium Isle is a large island full of hilly open plains and small glens, which is overcast and rainy more often than not. The town of Sihirisium is often overlooked for the college and library, but most of the students and many of the junior faculty and staff make their homes in the small, quaint town surrounding the school. The town is most easily reached by ships, as unlike most of the portals throughout Eluaria, the Sihirisium portals in the college are locked to all but gifted mages with the proper keys and attunements.
But what most people think of when they hear the name Sihirisium is the college of magic, founded by the ancient council credited with once saving the world from the clutches of the blood mages. It is this place of higher learning where all forms of magic are collected, studied, and taught to those lucky and deserving enough to be accepted. Find your way to fabled Sihirisium!
Taur-en-Atar
While many elves will politely correct a person asking of the location of Taur-en-Atar to be all of the forests within Felfatheas, to the rest of the world, the name applies directly to the largest body of trees in the elven kingdom in the southeast, just below Islefield. The depths of this forest are known by only a select few, as the forest is full of dangers to those who do not dwell within it, and indeed, even sometimes to those who do. While there are many points of interest within these fabled forests, there are also monsters and almost alien races living here, disconnected from the civilized portions of the world who do not take lightly to intrusion. Even the wood elves who make their home in Taur-en-Atar will warn that not all of the forest is not a friendly place, and they warn travelers to stay to the tended paths maintained by the rangers there, for many who stray off the paths never return. Visit the depths of Taur-en-Atar!

If you're looking for mythical fae creatures, this is probably the place to go looking. Visit the mythic Lilac Forest!
